Our Methodology & Accuracy

Trust in your tools is paramount when producing music. Our Audio Analyzer doesn't just guess; it utilizes advanced waveform peak detection algorithms combined with Fourier transform techniques to isolate kick drums, hi-hats, and rhythmic transients. This allows us to accurately lock onto the tempo even in complex, syncopated tracks.

For our Key Detection, we analyze the harmonic frequency spectrum (chromagram) of the uploaded audio. By comparing the intensity of all 12 pitch classes against established major and minor musical profiles, we can determine the fundamental harmonic root of the song with high confidence.
