We are committed to digital accessibility.

Accessibility Statement

At BPM Finder, we are committed to ensuring our platform is accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

Our Commitment to WCAG 2.1

We actively implement the following accessibility features across our tempo and key detection tools:

  • ARIA Labels: All interactive elements, including our Tap Tempo button, metronome toggles, and audio analyzer controls, feature descriptive aria-labels for screen readers.
  • Keyboard Navigation: Our tap tools can be triggered entirely via the spacebar or enter keys. The entire application is navigable using structured focus states without a mouse.
  • Semantic HTML: We use correct heading hierarchies (H1 to HTML6) and semantic tags to ensure assistive technologies can accurately parse our guides and tool views, avoiding cannibalisation of topics.
  • High Contrast & Visuals: We ensure sufficient color contrast between text and its background. Icons from lucide-react scale effortlessly and hide from screen readers when purely decorative (`aria-hidden`).

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of BPM Finder. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers on our application by emailing us at accessibility@bmpfinder.site. We try to respond to feedback within 5 business days.
